ACL - Austrian Community Ladder

„The ACL is a solo-ladder for the german-speaking DOTA 2 Community. Meet up with equal-minded players from Austria, Germany and Switzerland and play exciting games.“

I started this project with a very good friend I met through DOTA - Mark "irie" Kostenz. The purpose of the whole thing was to reignite the austrian DOTA Community. At peak we had around 500 participants.

This project contained:

• Setting up a webserver and domains
• Designing, Coding and maintaing a Wordpress Website (acl-dota.at)
• Creating and managing a Discord (https://discord.gg/TqMKhPv)
• Coding Discord-bots in Python
• Setting up and managing the FACEIT-Hub (Link)
• Sponsorships, PR, Image-Design and social-media which was mainly done by Mark

Salut and thank you for checking out my little portfolio. I'm a 27 year-old nerd, living in Austria.

I hope you don't mind me bombarding you with some quick facts:

• I'm a Full-Stack Developer, but I prefer Backend stuff.
• I have two younger brothers, which I am very fond of.
• I love DOTA 2.
• I'm a country kid that moved to the city.
• I like cooking.
• I play trumpet in a brass band and a small jazz ensemble.
• I spend a lot of time on twitch.
• My drink of choice is whisky.
• I like traveling and wish I could do it more. (picture on the right is from a NYC-trip with the brass band)

Now, you might wonder "Well this is kind of a weird Portfolio." - and yeah, it totally is. I wanted to combine my love for coding and DOTA 2 while presenting you my personality, skills and general attitude towards things. Im not a designer but I think it worked out great.
